Welcome to GART FTC Team

Team #24751 from Hanoi

We build robots and help other teams learn

Who We Are

šŸ¤– About us

We're GART - a high school robotics team from Hanoi. Started in 2020, we compete in FTC competitions and teach younger students about robotics. Most of us knew nothing about building robots when we joined, but we learned together and now we help other teams get started too.

šŸŽÆ What we do

Design and build competition robots, compete in tournaments, and run free workshops for students interested in robotics. We share all our code and designs online because we think more people should have access to this kind of learning.

Leadership & Strategy
Started knowing nothing about robotics. Still figuring things out but we're making progress together.
MT

Technical Lead
Engineering & Design
Spend most of my time in CAD. Half the designs don't work but that's how you learn.
LP
Linh Pham
Programming Lead
Software Development
Debug most of the time. When things actually work it's pretty satisfying though.

Programming Team

HN
Hung Nguyen
Autonomous Specialist
Programming
Autonomous is tricky. Lots of testing and tweaking to get it working consistently.
TD
Thu Do
Vision Systems
Programming
Computer vision is hard but cool when it works. OpenCV tutorials are my best friend.
KL
Khoa Le
Control Systems
Programming
PID tuning takes forever. But smooth robot movement makes it worth it.

Mechanical Team

QV
Quang Vu
Mechanical Lead
Mechanics
If it's not falling apart, it's probably too heavy. Finding that balance is tough.
TH
Tam Ho
CAD Designer
Mechanics
Design looks great in CAD, then realize it won't fit. Back to the drawing board.
DB
Duong Bui
Build Specialist
Mechanics
Turning CAD models into real parts. Lost count of stripped screws and wrong measurements.

Design & Outreach Team

NP
Nhi Phan
Design Lead
Design & Media
Make things look presentable. Someone has to stop us from using Comic Sans everywhere.
BT

Outreach Coordinator
Outreach
Teaching kids about robots is fun. Their excitement reminds me why we do this.
HV
Hieu Vo
Documentation
Outreach
Engineering notebook duty. Actually helps when we need to remember what we did last month.

Our Team Spirit

šŸ¤ Work together

Everyone helps out. Programmers help build, builders help code. When something breaks at 2 AM before competition, we all stay to fix it.

šŸ’” Try new things

Not everything works. That's fine - we learn more from failures anyway. Plus blooper reels are entertaining.

šŸŽÆ Keep improving

Not trying to be perfect, just better than last week. Small improvements add up over time.

🌟 Help other teams

We compete hard but share knowledge freely. When other teams get better, competitions get more interesting for everyone.
